Quick little watercolor painting I did after re-reading Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are," Quite a good read when you're fighting insomnia, heh.

Daily DeviationHow to Be an Ogre by aridante is a stunning watercolor painting depicting a seemingly friendly ogre and a little girl, both of which are resting atop a hillside underneath a lovely sky decorated with clouds. This image caught my eye thanks to the feature posted today. This image utilizes vibrant colors and precision detail work, and is sure to amaze anybody. Watercolor is one of the most difficult painting methods to master, and aridante's work clearly shows that she has, indeed, mastered it. (Selected by +liquisoft) (Featured by $liquisoft)

wow. I love how you handle that watercolor. This is really amazing.
Great work! Watercolor is soooo hard. I respect anyone that can do it well.
woW! thats so amazing...I really like the mood you captured here...the look on the troll(beast) face is so interested in what the little guy has to say, or do....like he is teaching him how to be fierce. great job....DA print potential for sure!

We spoke our minds too clearly. We assumed fundamental rights were inherent not as pawns but humynz. I do not require a gauge for freedoms of speech cuz I never asked to be a citizen.
